About the Finnish NCD Alliance

The Finnish NCD Alliance involves the country’s largest patient and public health organisations, and the largest scientific association. The Alliance comprises:

The alliance covers the important disease groups in terms of public health and the economy. The organisations in the alliance have a total membership of 330 000. The alliance represents a diverse range of expertise concerning the most significant chronic diseases from the medical, public health and patient perspectives.

The alliance’s activities take place on basis of the independence and equality of the member associations, and are directed by a steering group comprising the top leadership of these associations.

The annual meeting of the alliance is composed of the elected officials and management of the member associations.
