International NCD Alliance
The Finnish NCD Alliance is a part of the international NCD Alliance.
The NCD Alliance, the international networking organisation for health associations nationally and regionally, has its origins in the United Nations 2011 High-level Meeting on Non-Communicable Diseases and the programme of action of the World Health Organisation.

The NCD Alliance was established to support the inter-governmental cooperation of the WHO’s member states. In 2015, the member states will report on how achieving the goals of the WHO’s Action Plan and the UN Declaration to reduce non-communicable diseases.
Global Targets have been set for reducing non-communicable disease premature mortality by 2025.
